Sounds like the mindset of another group of geopolitical assholes, the Muslims, who insist that nothing is ever their fault even when it is, because it is a culture of saving face.

My favorite story of this is the man attacking the phone salesman because his son used the phone they bought to run up tons of charges for porn. Because his son being a fricking degenerate would have reflected badly on him.
