“AIDS” (HIV) tests actually do limit the spread because they make an otherwise asymptomatic carrier realize that they can spread the disease, and take appropriate precautions.
One facet of widespread coronavirus testing uses this same premise.
I understand that but this is my question: what would testing protocol look like? Meaning test me today and i could be negative but tomorrow could be positive. I'd be fine with testing me before I walk into the nursing home where I work BUT if I want to go to Target or Hobby Lobby or anywhere, will I be tested first?
And testing a person once won't cut it, unless they're positive and then stay home to quarantine. Not sure how that would all work.
