How well does the Palisades match up to the Empire? I just tilled about 8ksqft and have mason sand being delivered next week to level. I’ve been going between Palisades and Geo. I have Empire in the front now and I agree, it doesn’t do well in any kind of shade. I know Palisades is the same medium/ broad leaf like Empire, but I’m pulling more towards Geo as everything I’ve read says it’s a little more shade tolerant than Palisades, plus I think I like the look of the finer blade more as it looks more like Bermuda.
