who gives a shite why he didn't want to play for GSW.
CP3 gave us everything he had for 6 years. He would have played for anyone that we traded him too, i guarantee that, doesn't mean he had to resign there. There's nothing wrong with him saying it's very unlikely i resign with you if you trade for me, and this has been happening in the NBA for a while now. doesn't matter what his reasoning was for not wanting to resign with the trade partner. it's his life and his career.

CP3 slowly evolved into one of my most hated players in the league.
However, none of that had to do with his time here.
The guy gave us his prime, he was a model citizen that still does community outreach int he community to this day. Still had a place here up until a couple years ago.
He helped foster perhaps the best team culture we have had as a franchise.
It was ownership that let us down, not CP3.
When we decided that cost savings by way of our third(or arguably second) best player was more important than winning, it was ownership that failed us. When we decided that Jeff Bower and 2k ratings was better than fully staffing a front office, it was ownership that let us down. I don’t blame CP3, at all. Ownership failed him, ownership failed all of us, and had he not forced his hand it is very possible we never reach the bottom that was necessary to get rid of Shinn for good.
