Just curious what y’alls opinion is on the best holster for EDC. I have a glock 43x and Not a very big guy so I don’t want anything to bulky.

I had one of these for every pistol I owned worn between 4 and 5 o'clock. Tucked (open) or untucked(concealed) it didn't matter. Always the most comfortable for me without buying a trying 10 holsters for each pistol. I don't like kydex
I am 5'11' 185lbs.
I miss having guns.

I have 3 Black Point Tactical Dual point holsters.
They can be either IWB or OWB.

With the 9, untucked. IWB primarily with that one because it's leather and feels much better. OWB if we're doing some training classes. Tend to use my Kydex holster for that as I like how you can draw out of it, adjustable and has a thumb release.

But full disclosure, I have a Kel-Tec p32 and use this holster either IWB or just in the pocket quite often. This is a great pocket holster for .380 as well.

The best holster is the one you like and will wear EVERY DAY.
It's one of those things that you're just going to have to find on your own. What works for me, my body, and where I like to carry might not work for you and your body and where you prefer to carry. Resign yourself to having three or four holsters that you never use until you find one you really like and will wear EVERY DAY.
It kinda sucks to not have a great resource or flowchart to find a holster for you, but it's like buying clothes. You just gotta try stuff on to see what you like because I'll wear shite that you'd NEVER wear and vice versa.
That said, my current holsters are Blackpoint Tactical IWB with some neoprene stuck to the body side for comfort when I carry one of my pistols and an Alien Gear Shapeshift when I carry the other. I prefer Kydex over leather because I carry pistols without manual safeties and it gives rigid protection for the trigger well, but I hate the feel of Kydex against my skin because it digs in. So, I tend to like hybrid half-shell holsters when I can find one to fit a pistol. Otherwise, I'll slap some adhesive backed neoprene on the body side of a 100% Kydex holster like on my Blackpoint Tactical.

Their leather wing is a killer holster.

That's probably the average. I got lucky and ended up with just one that I never use and 1 that I use rarely. The one I never use was one of the more expensive ones, of course.
OP, you said you're not a big guy. I have a 32 inch waist and carrying a double-stack IWB at 4 o'clock is impossible without an entirely new wardrobe. I can do a single-stack IWB appendix carry, but I typically end up with OWB and shirt untucked or a pocket kydex holster for an LCP if OWB just doesn't work. Be realistic about what you can carry and when; it'll save you some money.

Hi, ICEbaby. It'll be hard to help you much w/o knowing some more info.
How do you intend to carry the 43x- shoulder, cross draw, ankle, pocket, inside the waistband (IWB) or outside the waistband (OWB)?
Do you have a preferred material-leather, kydex or hybrid? I like leather.
Personally, I find myself cc a 380 more and more during the week. For a small 380, I like a pocket holster in the right front pocket (dominant hand) and a spare mag in a mag holder in the left front pocket. When not carrying a 380, I'll carry a small 9mm, usually a Kimber Micro 9 or a Kahr CM9. The M9 has been previously carried in an IWB "Tuck Clip" holster from Side Guard. OTOH, I just bought an OWB holster for the M9. After wearing it all weekend, I can say OWB carry is more comfortable than IWB. It's a really nice easily removable snap on holster from Ronin Leather Holsters. The CM9 is carried in either a pocket holster or a snap OWB, both from TT Gunleather. Maybe it's because of my ever expanding waistline, but OWB holsters are getting more and more comfortable for me! My "woods gun" for cc is a Taurus G2c in a Rob KeetonOWB holster.
