EDIT: I still cant help but find it hilarious that we live a capitalist society where everyone is allowed to look for the biggest profit possible but athletes are supposed to be like "Yeah frick money. I just want to risk breaking my neck every week for pure fun." That sounds like some crazy SJW stuff to me just saying...

Every employer/Industry is allowed to determine employment requirements. The NFL has stated they require a player to be three years out of high school before entering the draft. That is NOT a requirement by the NCAA or College Football.

One and done would kill college ball as we know it. The NFL uses college as a developmental league, so all are happy with the current structure.

I’m sure someone said it in this thread. But see Maurice Clarrett Jackass. Football is a lot different physically then basketball.

Football is not the same as basketball.

As great as Stingley is, he still hasn't reached his peak level. He's 19 haha.

I think for some fans what gets lost is that for some players it isn't just all about money. Maybe Stingley enjoys playing at LSU. Maybe he has goals he wants to accomplish before leaving. Maybe he wants to establish himself as the best to ever to it in Purple & Gold. Maybe he wants to be the first player people think of when they hear "DBU".

You really think a soon to be 19 yr. old is physically mature enough to go against the grown men of the NFL? By the time he turns 21 he will be!
