Which would be about 360,000 deaths over the last 6 weeks... it is said that 50,000 or so are related to Covid 19... but I can't find any info that suggests that these numbers have increased our daily average

The same number of people are dying per day

I would imagine fewer road deaths and various other things that comes from so many staying at home. That being said, the number one killer is heart disease. With so many people out of work and the stress it causes, I can't help but think this about to spike.

According to the CDC a few days ago, the total number of deaths in the US in 2019 was 620,000.

Total deaths? That’s wrong as shite. More people than that in the US die of heart disease alone each year

Yeah, statistically speaking, it’s gotta be a good bit more than that, unless people are now regularly starting to live to be like 300 years old.

Overall deaths have dropped dramatically with people off of the roads here in Houston.

It was @ 2.8M deaths in the US last year.

More folks died of normal accidents, Alzheimer’s, diabetes, nephritis, or suicide than COVID.

Sedentary life style, gaining weight, little exercise and lots of Netflix, yeah that sounds like a formula for cardio-vascular disease.

No, it is about 2.8 million a year.
And even that figure depend upon who’s counting and what their yardstick is.

That cannot be correct for a full year.

There are 330,000,000 people in the country. Even if they are skewed younger there have to be close to 3 million deaths unless everybody is living past 100.

I am agreeing with you.

That was not my quote. That was from MexicanTiger97.

Here’s a good article by the way

Perhaps you need to look harder. Hmm less traffic accidents perhaps. Miami hasn’t had a homicide in 7 weeks

Link me to your info that shows more people have died in March or April, than died in March or April 2019... Fifty thousand additional deaths should be hard to hide

That's because fewer people are dying of heart disease, cancer, etc. They've been replaced by classifying them as Covid deaths.
