35% + 6.2% + 6.2% = 47% Total tax Which OP said it was 15% anyway. I don’t want to give my 6.2 % + 6.2 %that my company paid either.

Social Security will never be depleted. The largest voting block are people 60 and older. And they do vote, unlike millennials.
