lRussell Wilson is making more than Prescott, Seattle was in the playoffs last year. They were literally an inch away from winning their division, that inch was not because they paid Wilson too much. Rodgers, Big Ben, Brees, Manning all were among the highest paid QBs and have had plenty of success.

First off you only read what you want to. I never said you should pay a premium for an elite QB. Dak is not elite.

All of those QBs are/were worth what they got. Dak is not even close to the same level as them.

Fair enough but this raises 2 other questions : what are you defining as "elite" and why don't you think Dak qualifies?

I'll grant you Mahomes and Wilson are on another level but based on what he's done, i just don't see how he's not at least a top 7-10 QB and since his rookie deal is done he's up for a new contract. They have a good roster as it is and a new coach, to start over with a rookie would be insane imo. You and others get too caught up in a meaningless statements like "highest paid". That's just at one moment in time, Garappolo was the highest paid QB after signing his deal in 2018 but last year he was in the middle of the pack for QB's The first year was higher because of the signing bonus and they still made the Super Bowl. Contracts can also get restrux, it won't be "highest" paid for the duration of the contract esecially for cap purposes. Personally i think Prescott is better than Jimmy G.
