I run a small 12" lightbar on the front of my 1542. Made a switchbox from a 6x6 waterproof electrical box that is mounted to side of boat just in front of the driver seat. Allows me to turn the light on/off with my non-steering hand relatively quickly. Really only use it in tight sloughs, or places with alot of brush to navigate around.
