So this actually exists. I’ve been playing every day for 2 weeks. I went to do some stretching at home before going play today. All of a sudden, I could barely flex my hand. This sucks!!! No golf for a week at minimum. Ice, Advil, and whiskey to treat it.

Anyone else ever have this?

Not golfers elbow but I’ve gotten tennis elbow from golf 3 times now.
Once took 8 months to heal

I wear a pressure strap now which helps a ton When i play

I have it right now. Elbow tendinitis.

My son is a pitcher and has it also. Will not go away unless you shut it down fully for quite some time.

ETA it will also cause strain in the forearm and shoulder if you continue to use it

It hurts on the top of the forearm. Thumb side. A hammer curl would cripple me. I’ve been icing all day.

I’ve got a “trigger finger” that looks weird when I play a bunch.

Don't lie. We all saw you apply heavy amounts of vagisil.

Happened to me Saturday.
I couldn’t play.
Couldn’t squeeze my left hand and elbow was killing me... put it this way I couldn’t lift the club (like a dumbbell) with that arm.
Feels fine this am.

Weird.

Mine did it in high school my freshman year. My problem was a pinched nerve running from my neck. My dad took me to his chiropractor and in two days I didn’t have a problem.

Since then I went to a chiro once every two weeks or once a month and never had a problem. I haven’t been to a chiro in 4 years and just the other day my wrist and elbow flared up. So this week I’ll be going to a new chiropractor hoping I get the same results I did with my old one.

Had it a few years ago and it lasted for several months. Talked to another guy that went to the doctor for the same thing and the doctor prescribed Aleve3, or basically taking three OTC Aleve instead of two. After about a week it was gone.

The worst part I remember was that shaking someone’s hand or turning a doorknob would almost bring a tear to my eye it hurt so bad.

I had to have surgery on my right elbow and Astym treatments on both over the last 7-8 years. My psychical therapist said he has never felt knotted up tendons in anyone's forearms like mine. Astym is the only thing that helps me when it flares up, knock on wood that hasn't happen in about 2 years now.

Getting old sucks.

I’ve been icing it on and off since yesterday morning, eating sleeve and ibuprofen, and eating low carb. It feel about 90% now. I imagine by tomorrow, I’ll be fine. My doc told me to strap on those tennis elbow arm bands while I play.

Theraband is a rubber excercise thing I use : heard about it here / Joe Rogan takes about it on a podcast and I bought it - works great for tennis or golfers elbow. You won’t get rid of tendinitis but the excercise band (takes like 3 min per day) really works to alleviate the pain

Good rule of thumb is: If you're doing something that makes it hurt more, quit doing it for a while. I got it from golf (lateral epicondylitis); it lasted two years, couldn't shake hands, use a pen, etc. Ended up having surgery.

The flex bar works.

I had it for a month and a half and then got the flexbar. It was gone in 2 weeks.
