I thought about getting one before I got my Canik. The one at my local gun store had the one with the flat trigger(can't think of what it's called). I did some research and it seemed there were some people who had immediate problems with it. I assume they got those all taken care of but I was still super curious about that trigger. Does anyone have any experience with that trigger or know what I'm talking about?

It’s the 320 x5. The only problem I have heard is from the LCI barrels blowing gas up on the lenses of optics. Sig did away with the LCI and is changing barrels out for people. The trigger is really nice. A friend put a keres trigger in his and it’s far better, but the stock trigger is still pretty good.

AFAIK, the fire control unit in all of the P320 models is mostly identical with the exception of the trigger and the slide catch lever. The P320 Legion has the skeletonized flat trigger, which reduces trigger pull and gives you a better purchase lower down on the trigger getting you more leverage vs. the standard curved trigger that you're going to interact with higher up and closer to the pivot. Legion FCU on the top, standard on the bottom. You can clearly see the differences between the triggers and the slide catch levers. The lower picture is also shown with the takedown lever inserted while the top picture does not show it, though they should be the same.

If you've ever wondered what the government considers a Sig P320, it's the metal frame that holds the FCU components. You can see in both of these picture where a box was placed to hide the weapon's serial number. That little metal frame is the only thing you need a FFL to transfer. There is a window cut in the side of the grips so you can see the S/N when the FCU is inserted into a grip module.
