Trying to get some work done. The line to get into Lowes is 20 deep, mostly older folks. WT actual F. Why are we uber-guilted into making sure we take care of our “most vulnerable” citizens when they refuse to take care of themselves? “You ain’t gonna tell me I can’t putt around at Lowe’s on a Saturday!”

If someone has serious underlying health issues, and is in a managed care facility, that is a different story.
Locking away elders, and throwing away the key is a Chinese communist tactic (but Bill Gates would enthusiastically agree with that tactic)

Did you get this figure from an Imperial College model? Sounds made up. I don’t believe you.

I have basically ignored the hell out of whatever travel restrictions, park, trail, lake closures, etc since this bullshite started, but one thing I have tried to do is keep at least 6' of distance between myself and others.
I can say from multiple eyewitness accounts that it's mostly mobile phone junkies, the elderly, and minorities that give zero fricks about "social distancing" if you are in their way.

10 posts? The ChiCom shills are out in force. What time is it in China, Lucky?
BTW, there are 50 million Americans over the age of 70. 1% is 500,000. And you sound like a sick puppy.

The Boomers really can’t help themselves. Their urge to go out of in public and expose themselves and their families to SARS-Cov-2 is impressive. Horribly deleterious, but impressive nonetheless.

The point was, before we got off track, how much sh!t the college spring breakers took for going to the beach and not a peep about the oldies doing whatever the crap they want.

Please explain in more detail.
There are 50 million seniors in the US. Almost all vote, and the vast majority voted for Trump.
Dems/ChiComs want Trump out. What better way to alienate the Senior voting block than to treat them like a modern day leper colony. And under Trump's watch.
Birx/Fauci/CDC/NIH/WHO have been pushing this phony shite since day one.
Look at the Diamond Princess. 2700 Seniors, and 7 deaths on a ship loaded with COVID. And all confined on board for a month. Two weeks with zero mitigation measures.

Have you considered that they are trying to get some work done as well?

The college kids on spring break, in some cases spread the virus from infected regions, through uninfected regions. An infected person that went from New York, to a beach in Florida, stopped for gas several times, stopped to eat several times, came in contact with no telling how many people. Then they all got together, and others got infected, and went home to infect their community.
The old people just came from their obviously, uninfected house, to the local Lowe's.

My sister and I, in our mid 50s, have told our parents, (Mom 78, Dad 80), "You cannot play with your friends, it is for your own good.". The irony is almost as funny as their reaction.
