Here are some pics of the fence I build in my backyard a few years ago. I used schedule 80 pipe and surrounded them in a box made of pickets with a cap on top of everything. The quality of the pickets that you will get would probably be better from a lumber yard than from a big box store. You can also see the difference between stained and unstained.
