Geez, mine was almost $1000 even for 3 pallets and I ordered it a few weeks ago.
One big selling point for me was the fact that Geo is fine-bladed. I'm not a fan of wider bladed grass, but that's really just a personal preference. From what I've read, both are about on par when it comes to shade tolerance.

Geo is the most shade tolerant zoysia. If you have 3-4 hours you will be good going with palisades.
