If you chute a gator in Florida it’s life in prison for disturbing the ecosystem. In La it’s a roast. And wildlife conservation won’t remove the gator unless it’s a “known threat.” You aren’t allowed to trap or bait them.

You can get tags in Florida just like you can in Louisiana.
