I'm kind of glad he 198's weren't out when I bought mine. I would of definitely bought the 198. The only thing I would change about my boat is the speed.

Have you seen the Excel bass boat. Cajun has one.

Me too. Ah well. Mine has been paid off for 3 years, killed 2-300 ducks out of, caught salt and fresh water fish, caught crabs, jug lined, pulled kids around.
It's doing it's job and still looks fairly new.
I agree on the speed. Give me 10-15 more mphs for long straight runs and I would be a little bit happier.

My next boat will probably be a Southern Fab bass style with 150-175. My bro-in-law designed and had one built before the Southern Fab owner built his own, and it is bad arse.

I agree. I hit 52.3 this weekend with that wind at my back on a chop though
