a lot of it doesn't really make sense

but

couples who get busted for CP stuff do fascinate me. how do you have THAT first conversation? it has similar logical issues b/c we would presume it would never be safe to talk with a s/o about raping your kids or sharing CP or whatever heinous behavior is ongoing...but it happens
