I got the same email and completed the survey. Everyone who gets the opportunity should complete it.

Lie on it...make out like you hunted 85 days and saw 3 birds hard up against the best refuge in the state....maybe they'll do something to actually help hunters that way 'cause if y'all are like most states they are going the other way and doing it fast....

I live within 15 minutes of an area that stretches for 150 miles and winters several million ducks and about half that many geese and sees about the many more migrate during the season....the area is about 50-100 miles wide...it is a sizeable area! Only about 5% of this area is open to waterfowl hunting AT ALL...even on private land...because of regulation...and the area that is open forces all hunters to stand in one anothers shadow....and the area is less and less every year. There are still some staggering numbers of birds harvested and hunter success ratio is very high but there is no reason why all of that area is off limits to hunting...the quality of hunting would be far superior were more area open to hunting because you could actually decoy birds and hunt them the way they are meant to be hunted....instead most are pass shot when they are working someone else's spread and that of course leads to all manner of mischief....
