That seems about right. They understand the lock we normally have on Louisiana.

"Just watched the new clip, and wow! He makes it look like he's playing @ half-speed with those long strides. Pretty dominant. His competition looks kinda weak, but maybe it's just me. He wouldn't be getting away w/ half of that sh!t down here, I can tell you that much. What district is Bastrop in La.?"

Nice dig on LA Football.

They are in 4A and i would say play some of the best talent in the state every year. Thats Randle just playing around im guessing. Wish I could have been that good haha

They have a couple of easy games on the schedule, but the overall strength of schedule is pretty tough for Bastrop.

4A was the best in the state last year. Bastrop is just that much better than everyone else. How can Cane fans question LA football by the success they have had with LA players?

It's just typical banter from Florida natives. Every state is a little "too proud" of its high school football and posters like to downgrade another state by questioning the level of comp.

Florida has great h.s. football and generates more players than we do due to sheer numbers, obviously, but our top teams can go toe-to-toe with anybody in Florida.

I would have loved to seen Bastrop's team last year play Miami Northwestern

There would have been no shortage of speed in that game. In all fairness, I don't think any team in the nation could handle Northwestern last year. They just manhandled everyone and they did it the previous year as well - with mostly the same key players (as juniors).

Texas is the king of the hill in h.s. football.

And the citizens of the Lone Star State greatly enjoy reminding you of it.
