There actually is, but most people can’t come to terms with it. Things will open back up after herd immunity is reached either through slow drawn out controlled infections to achieve herd immunity or when a vaccine is ready and you can achieve herd immunity. That’s the only way this “Distancing” ends.

Things can open up whenever.

You’re just so partisan that you’re stuck. The idea behind this is to make sure that there’s hospital capacity. If there’s hospital capacity to handle the height of the infection, then open it up. Pretty simple.

No lives are being saved by sheltering in place other than the ones who would’ve lived with the system not overwhelmed.

ETA: the move by the governor of Washington isn’t data based. Just so we’re clear.

The social distancing may last that long, but that's different than the shutdowns which cannot last much longer than early May.
