I'll take a guess and say yes if they want to keep receiving state funds.

Its government mandated euthanasia. Let's hope caregivers on the ground in california dont do it.

I honestly am speechless. I recommend we all call 916-558-1784 and raise hell. We actually might save lives. Their call centers open in the morning. Do your part.

"There are several exceptions for these waived requirements on page 11 of the CMS document.

These requirements are only waived in cases where the transferring facility receives confirmation that the receiving facility agrees to accept the resident to be transferred or discharged."

So if I'm reading this correctly the nursing homes can say no.

I stand corrected.

"SNFs shall not refuse to admit or readmit a resident based on their status as a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 case."
