These are the Cryo-Vac Centers where you put yourself in storage until they find a cure, right?

Life Storage owns several self storage facilities.
They also manage facilities for Third Party Owners.
Most of the ones in BR are managed by Life Storage as they were previously call Storage Centers.
I happen to know this due to being in the storage business.

Storage places make no sense either unless you are using them for a short period of time.

When my wife and I moved in together we rented one because we had a lot of duplicate things like couches, beds etc.

I realized after about 2-3 months that it was stupid to pay $80/month to store used furniture and just gave most of it away.

I heard this was the case from someone who owned a little mom and pop storage place. Basically said Life Storage called them and implied that they were attempting to buy all the storage facilities in BR. They intend to rebrand the bigger properties and 3rd party manage all the smaller ones. They apparently want to own or operate every storage facility in town (big or small) and they are doing a really efficient job of collecting properties.
