He did say it. He also said that a trial has just started and we'll see what happens but he was more reserved about the drugs than he has been.
He also talked about how we have many other drugs being looked at. Something will work.

I just listened to it interview his exact words were
"If YOU were a betting man YOU would bet against it."
Totally different that him saying he would bet against it.
