Be patient and add on pullbacks. You will get opportunities at lower prices but you must have discipline! All the best to you all

Don’t tell me what to do with my money

I’m such a novice at this, it’s fun, but I have no idea what I’m doing obviously. Thanks for the advice.

I'm sure we will have pullbacks, but it may be 10% higher from where we are now. At this point, I'm not sure what news is going to cause a major pull back. We will most likely start seeing the effectiveness of these COVID treatments in the data and barring the House not passing the stimulus, there isn't much else to cause a major pullback. We had an awful jobless claims report and we're up 5%.

Pretty confident the bottom was 18,500 on the Dow. Once big money plows back in (which has happened) the market sets a new level which I believe to be 22-24k and waits on news. If a 3.2 million jobless number rallies the market then you are in for a rude awakening if you are sitting on cash. The market is a forward looking indicator and it priced in a much worse outcome than 3.2 million jobless, which tells me that it oversold and you probably shouldn't try to time the market if you are in cash. I will give you another hint why...
Fed pumped over 1 trillion in in a matter of weeks (2008 it was over 9 months)
Stimulus 2 trillion instantly (2008 it took over a year to equal that much stimulus)
Lower gas prices means cheaper travel when this ends
Just a thought.

Went with Microsoft Friday and it's been creeping back up since. Was going to wait for it to fall back down some before purchasing more. Decided to go ahead and buy now anyways because I may miss a big leap when all is said and done.

And understand you want that positive slope of the "bottom" you are watching.
