COD4 Question

My game is tightening up and I'm getting better but there is one thing I don't understand:
Every match I get this crap where these dudes chunk a nade over the top of two buildings and hit me right in the freaking forehead or at worst right at my feet.
I'm at level 25.
Is that a perk that I have not unlocked yet?
This is the one thing I don't get, these blind nade throws from a mile away that hit me right in the ball sack.

no its people that understand the game and know where the opponent is running to and time it right you will kill someone with the grenade..i do it all the time..

i swear nades on cod4 have human magnets in them. it seems sometimes in they will curve in the air or float just a little more than they should just to land next to you. imho you can throw gernades way to far in the game. throwing gernades over2 story buildings is a little unrealistic.

It is the killcam.
Having it show you how sick some of these throws are by seeing the flight path.
Every match some dude will lob one from the next area code and on the kill cam it looks like a guided missile.

no, its not fricking skill
its all luck and it pisses me off when someone hurls one over a building, probably 100+ yards and it lands right on me

It happens too often too be luck.
On the last FPS I played for a long time, I was hell with nades.
I could bounce them off of three walls to get them where I wanted them like banking a pool shot.
I was never able to put nades in people's drawers like these dudes on COD4 can.

all you gotta do is chunk them in the general direction...the whole reading the red dots and making precise angle calculations is a load of shite
sorry, but ive played this game enough to laugh at the notion of this not being luck
not to mention how damn annoying it is...similar to the figs who use juggernaut and have the grenade launcher, i can empty a clip on them, they live, launch their nade in my area and im dead every time

The nades piss me off...but the damn Airstrike and Helicopter piss me off MORE.

eh, if youre playing against good players, a 7 kill streak aint all that easy
but yea, helicopters especially on a small map will drive you nuts

The thing about it is you get the airstrike after 5 kills, then if you get only two kills out of the airstrike, you automatically get the helicopter and never have to move a muscle.
When you get one, you usually get the other.

Yeah the best level to chunk grenades is on District, because they always start both teams in pretty much the same 2 spots (especially on Search and Destroy). I usually just wait about 10 secs. when I start so I don't get hit with one.
I really hate the helicopter, I feel like it's stalking me half the time. The main thing to remember is, if you're running it will shoot you, but if you crouch down and slowly walk, it's less likely to shoot you.

The thing that pisses me off the most is when i see a guy facing the other direction so i take a little more time to try and get a headshot and the guy kills me. Then when i see the kill cam it shows him looking at me the whole time but on my screen he was looking to the right or left.

That is called lag.
I'm only on my fourth Prestige Mode, but I've kept it at 55 for a while now. I don't play as often, so when I pick up the game again, I like to have all the guns.
Anyway, 'nade tossing is pure luck. Lots of times, the most 'nade kills come right at the beginning when the opposition knows where you're running to because they play the game 24/7.

ummm are we both playing cod 4?? lol that thing will tear u up even if ur in a building camping if it sees u it shoots.
and i get mad at random gernades but at the same time they arnt random they ment to throw them there and i get them too only thing is it annoys me and i call them jusus nadeds because they go so far and bounce off of poles to make it to where i am...
