I do. Catfishing is decent. To put it simply, the bass fishing on the river just isn't that good. There are a couple of guys I know that have them figured out pretty well (I'm not one of them), but the quality of fishing is nothing like other fairly close waters. I fish the river a lot in the spring for sacalait and it can be okay, but again, not like other areas. There are some guys who fish sacalait year round and do well deeper on laydowns. I just fish it after work pretty often because it's close to my house and I grew up hanging out on the river, so I enjoy being out there. It really is a beautiful river, especially upriver from the 4th street split.

Thanks for the info. It’s amazing that it doesn’t produce more fish than it does. Do you have any theories on why it doesn’t? What other bodies of water have you had better luck on in this area?

It's going to be nothing but houses the way its going.
Fishing for anything other than catfish on there is tough but I still give it a go. My lil bro does fairly well and has caught some nice ones.
