I'm shocked that so many of you blame the media for any of this. Trump is the President of the United States and has literally complained about the media daily for the last 3.5 years. Why would he be taking the actions he's taking now if he didn't believe in it?

Trump was trying to keep everyone cool. He’s a numbers guy not an epidemiologist. The media has convinced the world the plague is upon upon us. We are counting a new variation of the common cold and the old people dying of pneumonia. The WORLDWIDE death count may crack 15k. This is a farce.

Why? An estimated 20000-70000 died in the flu outbreak. Where was the clamour from the Media? Too busy trying to railroad the President?

The hysteria reached a point that he has no choice. He either had to go all-in or be blamed for every single death.
