If there is a large uptick in deaths it would be more worrisome.
A large uptick in positives could just mean a large uptick in returned tests. The private tests returned this morning were almost double the existing numbers.

I agree. We're probably getting the first wave of tests back from when testing started ramping up.

Clearly.
But if it’s gone from 40-50 per update to getting a bump of 250 they probably need to strategize around how to announce it.

BR alone tested around 1000 in the last week and I’m not sure if we even have results from Monday. Just because the numbers are going up, isn’t necessarily an ominous sign. We are finally testing more. The concerning thing would be the hospitalized/death rate increasing.
