The first 9 games of the 2011 season with JLee at QB were lights out. That was the second best Offense to 2019. JLee could have been so good under a better Coaching staff.

LSU doesn’t beat Alabama in 2011 in Tuscaloosa without Jordan Jefferson.

Both statements are completely true.

very true.........and my argument then and now is, as many times that Lee came in to "save" a win while JJ was starting, but JJ continued to be the starter, that win in T-town didn't warrant JJ overtaking Lee for all that Lee had done previously. Going into the Middle Tenn game I believe, when they named JJ the starter, I got ill. Defense and special teams made those last few games look like huge offensive performances..........and Nick was licking his chops knowing Miles was going to not change a thing.

JJ should have never started at QB that year. No other coach would have replaced JLee with the season he was having and the way the team was playing. Remember, JJ lost his job during the offseason for being an idiot, not due to injury. JLee’s stats for the year were 62% completion rate, 14 TDs and only 3 INTs. His QB rating was 152. With our defense, that was easily good enough to win us the championship.
