So...there have been more deaths from flu since the end of October (now an estimated 24,000) than there has been from COVID-19 over the last 5 weeks (13,000). With the current pace, Coronavirus deaths should surpass flu deaths within the next 7-10 days.
Remember, Flu season runs October to May...so we are on the tail end of Flu season, and within the first 6 weeks of coronavirus.
