I was able to pick up The Hatchet today at a used bookstore in town(Lafayette). When I showed it to my older son, he couldn’t say enough about it! I was unaware he had read it for school in 7th grade a couple of years ago. He went on and on about how each chapter was exciting and interesting. He’s sure his little bro will like it, so thanks for the recommendation. While I was there, I picked up the first two Harry Potter books and another book entitled “Museum of Thieves”.
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I’m going to buy the Percy Jackson books online, and I’ve downloaded the first two in the “Mossflower” series by Jacques. So I think I’ve got plenty for my 10 year old

Nice work, sounds like he has a lot of great reading material coming up. I'm kinda jealous, a couple months of being able to run through books all day sounds kinda of nice.
