our current situation...

its better that Hatch and Lee battle it out for the job in practice, then start the season against weaker competition to get their legs under them, than to go through that same situation in the thick of the SEC schedule...

The situation that we have now is much better than losing your QB half way through the season.

I really can't speak about the arm or mobility of Lee or Hatch. They haven't had the opportunity to play. Hell, for all we know, Lee could be one of the best collegiate players ever and Perrilloux could have been a bust.

1st 3 games: Hatch prime with Lee getting 30-50% of the snaps.

Thereafter, the QB that shows the most composure.

My heart wants Lee because of his better upside.

My mind tells me that Hatch's composure and steadiness will win out. Especially since Hatch was MVP of Crowton's football camp in HS, was recruited to BYU, was aided in getting to Harvard, and was lured to LSU by Crowton. And because Miles almost always sides with age over talent.
