Waited 12 years for this, wasn't disappointed. Going to age really well.

Probably my favorite hip hop album this year. Jay-Z and Jay Electronica work really well together.

First the coronavirus now this. Everyone say their goodbyes. It's been a good run. Album is really good too. Production is on point and most of it done by Jay Electronica.

Yea it's really good. I'd put it up there with Boldy James and Alchemist - The Price of Tea in China.

12 year wait and wasnt a huge letdown.

Kinda makes me sad to think how many great albums jay elect couldve put out over that time.

I like it. It's just so hard to justify the wait and what came before it. It's a good album, though.

Holy shite this album is good. I just gave it a first listen and have been totally blown away.

Well worth the wait. The production is outstanding

Jay Electronica is so good.

Has anyone listened to the Griselda album WWCD?

Yes. Griselda is doing really good stuff right now.

Add in Eminem, Denzel Curry/Kenny Beats, Royce and Jadakiss and it's been a very solid beginning to the year for lyrical rap.

I have a ton. I frick with Griselda heavy. I listen to all their projects and have some of them on vinyl.
Griselda brought back the 90s grimy New York hardcore hip hop. It's clear that their influences are 90s Mobb Deep, Reakwon and Ghostface, M.O.P. and the like.

My favorite Westside Gunn projects are Flygod, Supreme Blientele aka Chris Benoit aka God Is The Greatest(gotta love having the same album with 3 different covers and names lol) and Hitler Wears Hermes 7.

My favorite Conway projects are Reject on Steroids, Look At What I Become, and the collab project with Trillmatic called Organized Grime.

My favorite Benny projects are Tana Talk 3, The Plugs I Met, and My First Brick.

Their in house producer Daringer handles a lot of their production. His samples are crazy. Similar to Alchemist who also does a lot of production for Griselda.

Right now you would have to buy 2nd hand off of discogs and they will be pricey. They only press limited amounts for the most part so you would have to grab them as they are released. They are pressed in Europe so shipping is around $15-$20 plus the $35 or so for the album. You want to be online for the exact time they drop because they usually sell out in about 10 mins. There are exceptions tho.

Here are some that aren't too
expensive.

Conway and Alchemist just dropped an EP called LULU. The beats are super grimey and Conway kills it.
