Listening to “What You Need” and realizing that if I wasn’t 3 years old In 1985, I may have thought they were the next Stones.

That’s all. INXS is awesome and underrated.

They were like two bands to me. The Swing and everything prior was like great alt./college music. After that, pop crap for the most part.

The Live Baby Live concert is a great example of how he could hold an audience. When Never Tear Us Apart was on, my 16 year old son said that he looked like Morrison in his mannerisms; I could see it at the moment during the song.

Michael was great but those other guys were great musicians in their own right.

Most definitely.

It always makes me a little sad when someone name drops Men at Work as the archetypal 80s Aussie band....

This band was underrated and has been mostly forgotten, but they were really good.
