Lacy is more complete due to speed, size and explosiveness. Ford is not completely rounded as of yet but that's what position coaches are for

As many carries as Lacy had , I don't see where he has a "serious" fumbling problem. What would you say his fumbles per carry was, based on what you saw?

I think Lacy has more talent, but Ford is the safest pick (for numerous reasons). I really hope Lacy gets his grades up and becomes the number 3 back in this class. Both are studs.

you make it sound as if he carries the majority of the time. that was only this year after kelvin got hurt.

He "stopped being injured" in week 11 of last season when he returned for the playoffs.

That's exactly what I'm sayin. He had the majority of the carries the last 2 years, and for the amount of carries he had, he did not fumble that often.

by serious problem i meant something different. when the pressures on the line i dont think he can be counted on. if he doesnt fumble against westgate dutchtown wins.

Ford is a monster on the field. He will have a great career at LSU.
While Lacy has talent I do not think his running style will be as effective in college.

My vote goes to Ford.

While Lacy may have more natural ability (not by much though), Ford has things in order right now and I think that counts for something.

That being said, I would love to have either or both running the football for me.

i think if lacy can keep a c average and stay clean off the field he'll have a very good if not better career than ford. btw his running style is great for a spread offense such as awburns and lsu's.
