No, Ruthie, actually abortion is nearly 100% unsafe .... for the baby.

This is their continuing redefinition of life to suit their politics. You can see that it isn't a stretch to devalue demographics and even ideology once they can redefine and make an unborn child a non-person.

Every single one of us started life as an unborn child. I've never understood the argument that makes it a non-person. Even reasonable pro-choice folks used to concede that at some point, 22, 24 weeks of gestation, or thereabouts, there would be some concern and certainly by the time we got to the upper 20-week mark, 30 weeks, etc., that was a human being.

Not this new crew - I'm not sure they even view viability as any sort of bar - they're for 27th trimester abortions if they could get that through the courts. And celebrate every one.

Reasonable people on both sides of the debate fear the “slippery slope,“ and justifiably so.

It is an unfortunate fact that all too often legislation springs from the extremists on one end or the other of any given issue.

Where the abortion Left obtains control, you see legislatures allowing late-term abortion on demand. Where the abortion Right obtains control, you see efforts to impose outright bans

Reasonable people see the issue somewhere in the gray space somewhere between those extremes.
