I was on a really good baseball team my freshman year that lost in the state semis.
I was pretty goddamn good and couldn’t even get important innings on the team.
I made solid friends, but acquired zero girls.

Was part of a few championship teams in college. Was lucky to have really talented teammates. I contributed very little but got a few rings out if it

Sort of. I was third string in my weight class but only the first two guys compete in the state Tournament. They finished First and Second in State and our team dominated that year. I never lettered. In fact, I didn't even travel with the team to Baton Rouge for the tourney. But I wrestled those guys every day for months. So, yeah.

We were the only marching band to score straight 1's at Showcase at ULL in '97, making us defacto state champs.

Nope. All of the club and school teams I was on sucked. I certainly didn't help and perhaps I contributed to the suckiness. Fun times, though.

I lost a State game in football.
Still haunts me to this day at times. I’m sure people will say that’s dumb, but they probably have no similar experience. Friends on the same team talk about it every time we get together.
