The college coaches themselves have acknowledged that they are offering kids too early. Some are practically begging the NCAA to make a rule to stop this, as they cannot help themselves. Its so competitive that they are in a rush to offer the next phenom, many who have yet to play a HS varsity game. So the kid who develops early gets the offer, when we all know how much young kids can change at that age in a year or two.
