Logic Behind Al’s Rotations?

At one point tonight the lineup was: Jrue, Moore, Frank, Hart, and Melli. Another time Al had Zion out there at the 5 (not the first time he’s done that). What is the logic behind these line-ups?
Al isn’t qualified to coach an AAU team, much less an NBA team. No concept of timeouts, no rotations, no motivation, no defense, no energy/passion, and most importantly, no winning.

I noticed this too. It was the dumbest things I’ve ever seen. He complained about his team conforming to what the T-Wolves were doing, but it seemed he was trying to conform his personnel to the opponents the whole night instead of imposing our will on them

He needs to teach a college class called "How to keep a job despite being absolutely fricking terrible at it"

I saw that as well...why not go bigger with Hayes at the 5 and Meli at the 4 and see what happens

this was therapeutic for me.
i find his demeanor inappropriate affect given circumstances.
he must have decided years ago not to show feelings.
to try to answer op, i think he tries to show guys love and get them to feel confident.
best i got.
