Our dog, also Moose, used Loxicom. It is a liquid NSAID and was prescribed for one dose every 24 hours or as needed. We gave it to him pretty much every other day. He was on it for over a year, and it improved his mobility significantly.
But, for sure ask your vet for both prescription and over the counter options. It is good to get an idea of the arthritis damage early and tailor the treatment to the progression.
