In '94 we had tickets to three games of the Rangers 4 game series vs. the Angels. Was going to be my first time ever seeing a major league game. My dad didn't feel like sitting through three ball games, so he gave up our tickets for the 1st of the 3 games. MFing Kenny Rogers throws a perfect game in the game I should have been at!

Was in the Astrodome in 1986 to watch Mike Scott throw a no-hitter against San Fran. And send the Stros to the league championship. A fellow co-worker had tickets but decided not to go. Was Magic and euphoria in the Dome that afternoon.

Exact same story for me, and I can't remember who my co-worker was. You didn't work for Kaneb or one of it's subsidiaries at the time, did you? Sat about 5-6 rows up right behind the Astro's on deck circle. And you are right, it was magical and euphoric. Can still picture Glen Davis running to first to make the final put out unassisted right in front of us.
