re: Yo-yo laws in LA

Some of my fondest memories are running yo-yo's with my dad in a 14' flat with a 9.9 Mercury on Caddo Lake. We used to sleep in the back on the truck in sleeping bags with no camper shell for a few hours at a time and just stare up at the stars.

I was 12 or 13 in the mid-80's and I remember him waking me up once asking if I wanted to go run them and I told him I was too cold could we wait till the morning. When we checked them, the small fish get pulled completely out the water and they were frozen solid.
