A little late, but I went down to Houma to visit some relatives on Mardi Gras day, and guess who was riding but the good ole Slinger, dip cup and all on a float decked out in LSU natty garb!
E and his son Steve Jr. were both riding together and it was really a touching sight to see those two enjoying life, especially after what they went through.

Met him that morning when they arrived to the float, didnt see his son though.
We informed he would be riding the weekend before. The invite was extended to O but he had prior commitments so E rode in his place.
That float has been the same for as long as I can remember the only changes are when a title is won it is added to the back of the float.
