Speaking of Jets, one thing I really like about him is he never gives up on a play. By this I mean that he is never satisfied with just getting first down yardage and taking an easy way out of bounds or sliding to the ground. He Always went for (and usually got) as much extra yardage as possible.

The biggest example of this was the 3rd and 17 play in the Texas game. Joe made a great throw to Jefferson for enough for a first down. Jefferson could easily have glided out of bounds after that catch. In fact, if you watch the play closely, the Texas defender appears to think Jets is going out of bounds and slows down just a bit before Jefferson makes the turn upfield. We all know the result of that play - one of the greatest plays in LSU history.

Jefferson never gives up!

Yep.

And in the Georgia game in the SEC Championship where he caught the pass near the sideline and had two guys closing in on him and said, "nope, frick that. Gimme MORE!"

Everybody knows that play for Joe Burrows Houdini act behind the line of scrimmage but Jefferson was a huge part of that. Finding the open spot and coming back to the ball and making the play after the catch to get them near the goal line
