Who would YOU rather have as your qb?

Both are going to be busts, IMO.

ETA: Although, based on where they were drafted, they obviously won't be big busts.

Brohm. I think Flacco may be the second coming of Kyle Boller.

Brohm is a no-brainer. and in truth, i've never seen flacco play so i don't have an opinion on him but I think Brohm will do well in the NFL.

Flacco going mid 1st isn't high enough to be considered a bust?

If he gets significant playing time, Brohm.

Two years ago Brohm was considered a top 5 pick, and last year he put up better numbers but had no defense and L'ville lost more games and his stock fell.

just thinking that. hell, if flacco had gone in the 2nd he could still be considered a bust.

but to answer the original question. i think flacco is a career 2nd stringer and brohm won't be a bust but he'll never be a top 10 or 15 qb

Brohm. Truly one of the best prototypical qb's I've seen in college in the past few years since the Mannings and Chris Leak (size limitations hold him back). I don't know how he will transfer to the NFL, but he should be pretty good.

Haven't seen Flacco yet, but he seems more of a potential guy (a la Ryan Leaf) than a guy who produced year in and year out (a la P. Manning).
IMO.

I'll play devil's advocate here since everyone is jocking Brohm. I'll take Flacco because Brohm has already reached his potential, and Flacco has a much higher ceiling. And I'm definitely taking Flacco if he's in a situation where he won't be pushed right into the starting spot. He's bigger, faster, and has a much stronger arm than Brohm. He's also not as injury prone as Brohm who's been labeled as having "loose joints." Brohm's history of injuries is the major reason why I believe the Packers took Flynn in the 7th round.

I said that he would be a bust, just not a big bust. I consider big busts top 10 picks that don't pan out, just plain old busts first rounders, and minor busts first day picks that don't work out. Any picks on the second day aren't busts.

By all accounts, Troy Smith may start for the Ravens.

Brohm.

And if Rivers with his passing mechanics can make it, a smaller-build Brohm with a better throwing arm should too.

Is not Flacco's feet nailed to the floor?
