BMI has a lot of flaws and is based on a formula derived from the 1830s.

BMI has some flaws.


I have no doubt that America is too fat, but BMI proponents ignore the obvious drawbacks in this measurement.

Full disclosure: 5'11.65", 185, BMI says I'm "overweight"

Insurance companies love them some BMI.
