This is totally irrelevant to the decision making process for what to say and when in this instance. Sorry if you looked at your portfolio this afternoon and got all riled up. It will bounce back, which is yet another reason why the "tank the stock market" angle is senseless. There is no long game in that strategy. China will get moving again and the market will improve, not just stay down forever because Gavin Newsome said 9,000 people were being watched for symptoms.

We need to endure a goddam 4+% market sell off and scare the shite out of everyone in the process because little Gavin wants to blurt out a big, scary number? He could have kept his fricking mouth shut, and maybe someone would actually want to vacation in wine country this summer.
