Couldn't wishlist fast enough. Now I wait for a huge price drop. Also, with delayed releases to Steam (in addition to Metro Exodus you mentioned; Control coming out in August), I cannot bring myself to purchase these games I've already been waiting a year to play because they've already been 60%+ off in some cases on Epic. Why would I buy it on Steam for a release 40% or less off?
I am not going to support this exclusivity practice. Why should I pay more over a year later because I want the game on Steam? I waited a year.. I can wait another to be honest.

My stance exactly. I'm not paying $59.99 for last year's games when new titles like Doom Eternal are dropping this month. I bought Exodus when it launched on Steam earlier this month because it was basically half off, but I wouldn't have paid the $39.99 regular price they were asking.

Again, my stance exactly and this was an unpopular position on this board, at least in the first half of 2019. Essentially the rule for me is = if it's not on Steam, I'm not buying it. I'm glad more companies are starting to realize this is the position of many people, which is why Star Wars Fallen Order came to Steam and we only had to wait a month for RDR2.
