1 week to chill: Bordeaux vs Champagne?

Wife and I looking for a much needed relaxing week where we chill, drink wine, and eat in France - probably mostly countryside but might take a trip to a city or two. Narrowed down to Bordeaux or Champagne regions. Which would you recommend?
If we do champagne we might try to squeeze in bourguignon as well even though we’ve already been

IDK, we did Burgundy>Rhône>Provence and it was beautiful. We were more interested in food and countryside scenery than wine.
Champagne and Paris could be done together, but that stops sounding chill at some point.
I’ve seen photos of Rocamadour, which is just east of Bordeaux, and that area looks amazing.
Sure it’ll be awesome no matter where y’all end up.

Champagne into Burgundy. Spend a few nights in Beaune. Although I have not been to Bordeaux so this is a one sided point of view.
However understand that, although it’s changing, an American style wine tasting isn’t offered at many places. Can be more hot or miss, irregular hours, etc.... again this is changing but getting a guide could be worth it to get into some off the radar spots.
